There are many tax advantages when you make a planned gift. We encourage you to consult with your attorney or financial planner for your specific circumstance.
Here are two examples of words you may provide your attorney (please have him/her contact us for the correct Tax ID):
Gift of a Specific Dollar Amount:
I give (___________) dollars to the Friends of Banning Museum, a non-profit corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of California.
Gift of a Percentage Amount:
I give (____) percent of the residue of my estate to the Friends of Banning Museum, a non-profit corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of California.
Unless restricted to a specific use, your legacy gift will be a vital addition to the Friends' endowment, thus assuring the continuing success of the Friends of Banning Museum for generations to come.
Legacy donors receive special courtesies and recognition.
